My Wedding Weekend
Posted: October 4, 2010
…started out with a wedding at Wayfarer Chapel with a reception at Harlyne J.Norris Pavillion in Palos Verdes.
Wayfarer is another one of those places that I wish I lived closer to, because I would be there ALL the time, it’s so beautiful.
Doesn’t Shari look gorgeous? And her bridesmaids might not wear these dresses again, but I’m going to pick one up myself for a formal wedding I’m coordinating in January – they have pockets!
Shari made her centerpieces herself – Big poufs of babies breath. Her favors were small glasses of white flowers, which were, in case you were wondering, more or less gone by the end of the night.
Hotcakes Bakery supplied the three-tiered yumminess. Of which I only had one piece – ONE – and snuck a piece for my husband.
On Sunday, I went to the Eco-Bridal Show at the Annenberg House in Santa Monica. Sponsored by Wisteria Flowers, the show featured some of the best eco-friendly vendors in town, including RecycledBride.com, and B&G Photography.
Lindee Daniel had these absolutely beautiful dresses made of organic silk. LOVE the blue. Hanna Hartnell continued the bridal show trend I love by having models walk around in her eco-friendly gowns, too.
I got a lot of great deals and discounts from this show, some of which will be posted here on Wednesday, and others on the Broke Ass Brigade Newsletter, so sign up for that today.
See you at the end of the aisle,
