Saying NO To The Dress

Brides Against Breast Cancer is one of my favorite events. Not only do the proceeds go to educational and support programs for cancer sufferers and their families, but I love helping brides choose their dresses. I’ve volunteered at every local sale for the past three years, and I did it again last Saturday. It’s such a big decision – this is you, and how you’re going to look and be remembered. The brides that took the longest were always caught between two dresses. They looked great in both, and they’d all brought people who had a lot opinions, but I kept saying, “which one are you most comfortable in?” “Does this fit with how you want your wedding to look and feel like?” Like any shopping trip, if you don’t like it in the store, you’re not going to like it at home…or when you’re walking down the aisle in it. The silk bedazzled silk dress with the five-foot train that you look gorgeous in isn’t always the best choice for you, no matter how much your mother is crying while she shoots pictures on her phone. Have the wedding dress you want. Have the wedding you want. What does that look to you?
April and May are already filled on my calendar, and June is getting there. If you’d like help creating the day of your dreams, email me at liz@silvercharmevents.com, or call me at 323-592-9318, so we can schedule your complimentary consultation this weekend.
I’ll see you at the end of the aisle,
