Andrew and Nikkia Get Married!
Posted: March 1, 2012

Andrew called me last week – he and his fiancee Nikkia wanted to get married at The Griffith Observatory, on Leap Year Day, and they needed an officiant. Sounded like fun, so I met them at Sunset yesterday. It was cloudy and silver and golden, and we had a beautiful view of Downtown L.A. to the east, and the Pacific Ocean to the west. I read their ceremony from my ipad, they read their vows (which made me cry) off their iPhones, and their friend and witness Eric shot pictures of the whole thing. It was perfect. “When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible,” I read. Yes, yes you do.
Congratulations, you guys. You made the day your own, and it rocked.

I love this gig, I really, really do. Whether it’s planning a full-scale wedding extravaganza or three people on a side of the hill, it’s all about the love. The love is what’s important, you know? That’s what we’re all there for.
So. What do you want your wedding to look like. Just let me know what you need…
See you at the end of the aisle,
