Wedding Wise Wednesday – January 11
Posted:Â January 11, 2012
Every Wednesday I bring you the best wedding stories, deals and events in Los Angeles and around the web. And we call it Wedding Wise Wednesday. Welcome!
Cool Wedding Thing of the Week:
One of the best ways to save money on your flowers is to use flowers that are in season when you’re getting married. One of the best ways to do that, at least in Los Angeles, is to visit Wisteria Lane’s website, which list the flowers that will be in season on your wedding day. That was easy. I love it when people are helpful…
The Events:
Saturday, January 14th
(and Sunday the 15th, too)
Sunday, January 15
The Deals:
So…MUCH.
Djamilla Cochran of The Rose Weddings Photography is offering a free photo canvas when you book your wedding with her. Djamilla is French, speaks five different languages and takes kick-a pictures in all of them. Reasonably-priced, too.
Royal Care Mobile Spa – Lana did Hair and Make-up for four of my brides last year, and for me at the bridal show on Sunday. We all love her! She’s offering 10% off any of a full range of mobile spa services (facials, manicures, pedicures) when you go online and book with promo code N120 or mention that you saw this in my blog. GO.
33rd Way Productions – $999 DJ special, coverage from set-up (whenever that is) to midnight. Dance floor lights and wireless mics included. Hurry for this one, it’s a bridal show special that’s only good for 10 days. That means your deadline is next Wednesday the 18th.
Ice Sculpturings.com: Want an martini ice luge at your wedding? How about one for just $100? Yeah, I thought so.
The Radisson Hotel in Whittier has a good wedding reception package right now, if you have 100 or less guests – $50 per person, choose from 5 different entrees (yes, there is steak in there). Champagne toast, cider and “free-flowing” fruit punch. One hour chocolate fountain (!), and they’ll even through in colored sashes for the chairs. For $40 more a person, you get a hosted bar for an hour, including beer, wine and soft drinks (I know you were wondering), and a wedding cake made to order. Add a candy station on top of that for another $5 per person.
If you love The Cheesecake Factory as much as I do, then you’ll be happy to learn that the location in Redondo Beach is now hosting wedding receptions. You’re welcome!
And, remember, if you would like to talk about how to have the wedding you want, and enjoy that day, contact me using the info below to set up your complimentary consultation. Let’s do this. 🙂
See you at the end of the aisle,
