Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a great one. Mine was awesome – I got to marry people! Karen and Will emailed me about a month ago. They wanted to get married on 1/01/10, and they needed someone to perform the ceremony. I was impressed- in three weeks they found Tivoli Terrace in Laguna Beach, which is usually closed on New Year’s Day, but was willing to open up for a couple of hours for the ceremony ($500, which is a frickin’ steal), a dress from David’s Bridal, a beautiful bouquet (she handed Will a picture of what she wanted, he handed her the bouquet right before the wedding) and wedding rings. Girl after my own heart. Will’s reaction when he saw her coming up the stairs in her dress? “Wow.” I concurred:

My assistant Maeline tagged along for the free ride to Disneyland afterward, and took these great pics. Karen and Will had a great photographer was Sam Chen with L.A. Color, and Maeline pretty much shadowed him after the wedding:

I love my job. Can you blame me? This Saturday, I get to perform Karen and Jason’s wedding in Pasadena, so Yay!
