My Wedding Weekend (Los Angeles Wedding Coordinator)

Adamson House

…was spent looking at various beautiful beachside venues. I know, it’s a rough life, especially this weekend, man. IT WAS GORGEOUS OUTSIDE. But my July 2015 wedding still needed a place to happen, so off we went.
Our first stop was at Adamson House, a historical site on PCH, which not only has beautiful gardens, expansive lawns, and classic California spanish architecture, but beautiful views both up and down the coast and into the mountains. My couple is from the East Coast, and Adamson House definitely plays as the quintessential California dream spot. You do have to bring in everything, and pay for a shuttle service, but the view and cache could be worth it.

Cypress Sea Cove

Our second stop was Cypress Sea Cove, about 20 minutes up the coast. Again, right on the ocean, a little more elevated. Not as classic, a bit more kitschy. As my bride put it, “I would be thrilled if we were invited to a wedding here.”

My phone died (sigh). THIS photo is by Up Imagery. Click for more.

Saturday’s last visit was to Calamigos Ranch, which yeah, isn’t on the coast of Malibu so much as it’s in the hills of Malibu. But I wanted them to see what was possible at an outdoor, full-service venue looked like.

Long Beach Museum of Art

Our last stop was at the Long Beach Museum of Art on Sunday, or as I like to call it, “Third Home.” It’s a great combination of Adamson House and Calamigos Ranch – beautiful venue and views, food, rentals and service all-inclusive. They really liked it, like lingering liked it…

#FTW

But I already knew they were going to pick Adamson House, and they did. The sun, the surf and the natural beauty have some powerful mojo. And, when you know you’ve found the perfect place, you just know. You know?

Next up, catering!

See you at the end of the aisle,
