Wedding Wise Wednesday – Late Edition

How’s everyone enjoying the New Year? I’ve been on a positive buzz ever since January 1, I just KNOW 2010 is going to rock!

So, here’s the plan. You know how I’ve been doing bridal show and trunk show reviews for the past couple of months? Well, guess who’s decided to participate this year, rather than just observe? Get into the game, as it were?
Me.
Yup, I will have a table at the Premiere Bridal Show in Manhattan Beach this Sunday,from 11am – 4pm. And I’m doing something a little out of the box – a bridal show treasure hunt! Yes, the first 15 people who come by my table and sign up, will get a list of all the things they need to find on the bridal show floor, and when they come back, they’ll get a pretty cool gift, if I do say so myself. More info in the next couple of days, but go ahead and register for the show online, which will save you a couple of dollars. Plus, I’ll be live-twittering from the show, too.

Dessert Bars are SO 2009. How about a Popcorn Buffet? Mix up your flavors and colors, put them in pretty vases or fun, fun buckets, throw them in bags, throw in some scoops, and you’ve got something your guests will talk about for years. for those not close enough to rush to the bridal show that I’m going to be at, Bridal Expo is also happening in the Inland Empire. It’s the largest wedding expo in the Inland Empire, you know.

Where’s Liz?

Pretty great weekend for me – On Saturday, I get to marry people some more. Karen and Jason at the Rocco in Pasadena. On Sunday, you should drop by and see me at the show. I’m not kidding when I say the treasure hunt prize is going to be cool. Because it is.
